Communicating Volunteer Impact through Recognition and Evaluation: CCVI Standards 13 and 14
Understanding and communicating the impact of your volunteers is crucial to increase volunteer satisfaction, improve program outcomes, and promote your volunteer program in your organization and your community. This workshop will explore how telling volunteers about the impact of their work can bolster recognition events and reinforce performance evaluation, and how you can evaluate volunteer engagement to boost volunteer impact and spark program growth.
CCVI Standard 13: Recognition
The organization recognizes the contributions of volunteers using ongoing formal and informal methods, applicable to the volunteer role. The value and impact of volunteer contributions are understood and acknowledged and communicated to the volunteer.
CCVI Standard 14: Evaluation
An evaluation framework is in place to assess the performance of volunteers and gauge volunteer satisfaction. The effectiveness of the volunteer engagement strategy in meeting the organization’s mandate is also evaluated.
During this interactive workshop, participants will:
- Learn best practices in volunteer recognition and performance evaluation.
- Gain insights into how to evaluate and improve their volunteer engagement strategy.
- Share current approaches to recognition and evaluation in their organizations and discuss new ideas for communicating impact.
Join us for the final workshop in our CCVI series to learn how to use recognition and evaluation as strategies to help you understand, communicate and increase the impact of your volunteers.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Latecomers will not be admitted after 9:45 a.m.
