Follow the Leader: How Leadership Volunteers Can Transform Your Organization

Volunteer Talk is an ongoing discussion series for member agencies to connect with colleagues, discuss relevant issues and trends in the sector and exchange information. To subscribe, please refer to our subscription page.

As a Volunteer Manager, you know that volunteers have a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to contribute to your organization. When given the chance to apply those qualities to a leadership role, they can inspire change, spark growth, and transform your organization. Nonprofit organizations often embrace the leadership of volunteers through a volunteer Board of Directors, but leadership volunteers don’t have to be Board members. They can form committees, supervise other volunteers, or create entirely volunteer-run projects; the possibilities are endless!

  • Where can volunteers take on leadership roles in your program?
  • How can you help prepare volunteers to be leaders?
  • What can leadership volunteers help you accomplish?

Join us to ask your questions, share your experiences and learn from your colleagues in a discussion about leadership roles for volunteers.

* Please complete the registration form to attend this event. There’s no fee to attend, but registration is only open to full subscriber agencies.
