Trailblazer Series: Engaging The Media

Volunteer Toronto's Trailblazer Series is a set of leadership talks for people who manage volunteer-run non-profit organizations and groups in Toronto. The talks provide an opportunity for local leaders to hear from peers and experts on how to overcome common challenges faced by organizations with no paid staff and limited resources.

Engaging The Media
As an up and coming non-profit, it can be difficult to get your organization’s name out there and raise awareness for the great work your organization does. Reaching out to the media is one way of promoting your organization, and if done successfully can create great publicity for your cause.

Hear from a seasoned marketing professional and the founders of ReadUp and The Sh*T Starts Here as they share what they did to get major news publications to cover their organizations’ work. You'll also have the opportunity to network with other non-profits as you share your experiences.

The leadership talks are free of charge and advance registration is required so book now to secure your space!
