With about 50% of the population of the GTA born outside Canada, volunteer managers have a great opportunity to harness the power of newcomers. But how do we do this to the benefit of everyone: the non-profit, the newcomer, and society at large? In this session, we will focus on newcomers: what are they looking for, how to recruit them, and how to keep them engaged. This is an idea exchange and discussion group, so please come prepared to share your experiences with your colleagues, and to network.
