Trailblazer Series: How To Measure Your Organization's Social Impact

Volunteer Toronto's Trailblazer Series is a set of leadership talks specifically for people who manage volunteer-run non-profit organizations and groups in Toronto. The talks provide an opportunity for local leaders to hear from peers and experts on how to overcome common challenges faced by organizations with no paid staff and limited resources.

How To Measure Your Organization's Social Impact
While many non-profits do great work, fewer are able to measure the difference they’re actually making. Being able to clearly articulate your social impact to your team, stakeholders, potential funders and the public will lead to better impact and greater recognition of the importance of your non-profit. Attend this session, led by Tinashe Mafukidze, to find out about the tools that are available, how to use them, and see some great examples of social impact measurement.

The Facilitator:
Tinashe is a globally-focused process facilitator, project manager and curator passionate about social impact. Over the years, she has co-founded social impact initiatives and has served on local and international boards and committees dedicating her efforts to innovative impact projects on equity and inclusion, migration, social enterprise, gender-based analysis and health.
Currently she is the Chief Curator at Nectable, a Toronto based creative boutique that facilitates organizational development, innovation and impact in Canada and around the world. Tinashe also serves on Telus Community Board.

The leadership talks are free of charge and advance registration is required so book now to secure your space!

Please note that the Trailblazer Series events are only open to people involved in leading non-profits groups that are solely run by volunteers. For our other sessions that are open to organizations who have paid staff, please click here.
