Attracting and Retaining Youth Volunteers  - Monday October 17, 6:00-7:00pm

Did you know that youth aged 15-19 are most likely to volunteer more than any other age group in Canada? What can your organization do to encourage more high school students to show an interest in your organization, become volunteers and stay motivated in their volunteer roles?

Join us for a special panel discussion featuring youth volunteers aged 14-18 who will share their thoughts and experiences on what non-profits in Toronto can do to engage high school aged volunteers, keep them motivated in their volunteer roles, and provide a positive volunteer experience that they'll enjoy. This panel is only open to organizations who have a table confirmed at our Youth Expo and will serve as a way of prepping you for the recruitment of the many volunteers you'll meet on Sunday October 23rd.

The panel will give you a youth perspective on volunteering in Toronto today, you'll be able to ask questions about the specific youth engagement challenges your organization faces, and will leave with practical tips on how your organization can improve the ways it works with youth volunteers.

There's no fee to attend this event, but registration is only open to organizations who have been offered a place at the Volunteer Toronto Youth Expo on Sunday October 23rd. As space is limited, we can only accept one registration per organization.
