Beyond 31 Days of Giving

HandsThis December, Volunteer Toronto launched #31DaysOfGiving on social media– a campaign to share great ideas for giving back over the holidays. Our goal is to tap into the sense of community and giving that floods this time of year, and light a spark of volunteerism that continues well beyond the season.

While many non-profits organize special holiday initiatives, the needs of organizations extend well beyond December 31st. This season, consider how your organization can help volunteers stay engaged once the holiday buzz is over. Show one-time volunteers how they can continue to work with you to make a difference all year round!

Our Newest Subscriber Workbook on
Long-Term Volunteering is Now Available!

Long-Term Volunteer WorkbookThe new Long-Term Volunteering Workbook goes in-depth into planning, preparing for and working with long-term volunteer roles.

Will You Be Supporting Syrian Refugees?

Syrian RefugeesDoes your organization currently work with, or plan to engage with Syrian refugees who will be settling in Toronto? Tell us how we can help! Volunteer Toronto is conducting a short survey to find out how we can help support organizations who will be providing services for refugees.

Please take our 5-minute Syrian Refugee Engagement Survey to let us know what we can do to help support your programs.

Look Up! We're on the TTC!

If you are a transit rider, keep an eye out January 4 - February 1 for our new TTC campaign! Ads will be placed at Spadina Station, inside various subway cars and along the side of two buses in the Scarborough and Wilson areas. All the images feature real volunteers from our Volunteers of Toronto website.
