Insightful and meaningful feedback can have a lasting impact on volunteers and on your volunteer program. Not only is feedback necessary to make sure that volunteers are on track with their work and getting the support they need, but giving feedback and doing performance evaluations can also help you to track and improve volunteer engagement and outcomes.

Giving positive feedback often comes naturally, but giving negative feedback can be a bit more challenging.
What do you do when a volunteer is not performing up to standard? What’s the best way to give constructive criticism to help them improve their work?

This Subscriber Circle will give you the chance to learn strategies for feedback and evaluation from Volunteer Toronto and from other volunteer managers.

Funding is always a hot topic for non-profit organizations. But groups that have no paid members of staff and may or may not be registered as a non-profit or a charity, often face massive barriers when it comes to raising the necessary funds to further their cause. So what options are there for raising money and what does one need to do to be successful?

Hear invaluable tips from Janice Moro, a seasoned fundraising professional, as she shares what possibilities exist for organizations regardless of size or incorporation status.
You'll also have the opportunity to hear about a fundraising source for organizations with a green focus and have the chance to network with other non-profits as you share your experiences.

Volunteer Toronto is a charitable organization committed to supporting, creating and celebrating volunteerism in Toronto. Through our innovative approaches to volunteering and services that empower organizations to develop engaging volunteer programs, we are supporting our mission to  create the best possible volunteer experience.
