Welcome Roxanne!

Photo of RoxanneWe’re pleased to welcome Roxanne English to our team in the role of Community Engagement Assistant! Roxanne has an upbeat attitude, an interest in connecting with folks, and great organizational skills. Her focus will be on supporting Volunteer Toronto’s community outreach by coordinating events, delivering presentations on how to volunteer, and representing Volunteer Toronto at events across this city. With Roxanne’s help, we’ll be able to provide more people with information about volunteering in Toronto.

ChangeTheWorld logoCelebrate Your High School Volunteers!

Do you engage high school volunteers? Have they volunteered 3 hours or more between April 10th and May 23rd? Show your gratitude by giving them a certificate of recognition as part of ChangeTheWorld.

ChangeTheWorld is a 6-week initiative by the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade and Volunteer Toronto encouraging youth to get involved in their communities and rewarding them for doing so. Every high school student that volunteers 3 hours or more April 10th - May 23rd can receive a certificate of participation in the campaign. This includes students who regularly volunteer, or those who volunteer for a onetime special event.

To request your certificates fill in this short form by Monday, June 6. Any questions contact Kelly at kdevries@volunteertoronto.ca.
