Looking to share your skills with the community? Interested in volunteering?

 

Volunteer Toronto’s Seniors Volunteer Fair is an excellent opportunity to meet organizations looking for your skills!

 

What is the Seniors Volunteer Fair?

The Seniors Volunteer Fair is a one day event for seniors to meet over 25 non-profits recruiting senior volunteers. This event is specific for seniors and organizations in North York. You’ll be able to talk face-to-face with organizations and find out what volunteer roles they have, ask questions about what they do and sign up for volunteer roles that interest you!

 

When does it take place?

On Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm.

 

Where will it take place?

At the North York Memorial Community Hall at 5110 Yonge Street, North York. The Seniors Volunteer Fair will be taking place in the Burgundy Room. When you arrive look for signs for the event! See map below. 

 

Is that near a TTC station?

Yes, the North York Memorial Community Hall is right beside the North York Centre Subway Station.

 

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the building is wheelchair accessible. When you enter the building you will see an elevator to your right.

 

How much does it cost to attend?

This Seniors Volunteer Fair is free!

 

Who can attend the Seniors Volunteer Fair?

This event is specific for seniors who are looking to volunteer. For this event we are defining seniors as anyone over 55 years of age. This Seniors Volunteer Fair is specific to people living in North York as all the non-profits recruiting volunteers will be located in North York. 

 

Do I need to register in advance?
