Volunteer Toronto Youth Expo

The Youth Expo is an annual one-day event for high school students to connect with non-profits looking for youth volunteers. Over 100 non-profits will attend including the Canadian Cancer Society, World Vision, the AGO, Habitat for Humanity and many more. This year's event will be on Sunday October 23rd from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Ryerson Mattamy Athletic Centre in downtown Toronto. 

It's free to just need to get your ticket in advance!

Learning About Volunteering

Tuesday, October 25 from 1pm -2pm, Downtown Toronto

Are you interested in volunteering? Do you want to learn more about what volunteering is? How to get started? And what the benefits are? This is the workshop for you. Learn more about the who, what, when, where and how of volunteering and hear from people who currently volunteer!


6 Ways Volunteering Can Help You Find Work

Wednesday, November 2 from 6pm -7:30pm,North Toronto 

Are you looking for work? Curious how volunteering might help? Volunteering can be a great way to gain skills, experience and connections while looking for work. Come learn more about volunteering and six concrete ways it can help! 


Volunteering As a Newcomer to Canada

Wednesday, November 16 from 6pm-7:30pm, Downtown Toronto

Are you hearing suggestions that you should volunteer but aren't sure how to start? Do you want to learn more about the benefits of volunteering? Would you like to feel more settled in Canada or learn English? This information session is for you!

Becoming a Board Member

Are you an experienced professional interested in volunteering in a leadership role? Volunteering as a non-profit board member may be the role for you. Come to one of our upcoming workshops to find out what's involved and have all your questions answered.

If you are interested in volunteering and need some help, please contact us! We can answer all your questions and suggest volunteer opportunities that are right for you.

You can either:

  • Book an appointment to have a one-on-one session to speak to a Referral Counsellor where they provide suggestions, tips and information on volunteering in Toronto. Please note that a Referral Counsellor will not match you with a volunteer opportunity, but will instead provide suggestions of positions for you to apply for. You can arrange for a Counsellor to call you, or you can schedule an appointment where you visit our office to speak with a Counsellor
