Keran McMullen
Volunteer with Furniture Bank

"A number of years ago I experienced a potentially life-threatening medical situation. At the hospital I found a sculpture with an inscription indicating that everyone on earth was an angel but with only one wing. It was only when we embraced each other that we were able to fly. It was one of those "aha" moments for me. Furniture Bank is the epitome of that belief. The staff, volunteers and clients work together to create new beginnings."
