Join us for our Trailblazer Series, a free evening of leadership talks with experts and peers on how to overcome common challenges faced by organizations with no paid staff and limited resources.

Topic: Engaging The Media
When: December 2, 2014
Time: 6:00pm
Where:Canadian Management Centre (150 York St.)

Tomorrow is Volunteer Managers Day! Join us in thanking those whose hard work, dedication and drive to build strong communities enhances the spirit of volunteerism worldwide.

Volunteerism doesn't succeed in a vacuum. It is because of the efforts of these people that millions of volunteers around the world are able to help efficiently and effectively

If you are a volunteer, we encourage you to thank your manager, coordinator, or specialist, whomever it is that helps you achieve your volunteer goals.

Finding Opportunities In Your Geographic Area

Our website offers multiple ways to search for volunteer opportunities in Toronto. If you are looking for a position in your main geographic area (Scarborough, Etobicoke, North York...etc) we encourage you to make use of the "City" search field.

Once you find an opportunity you are interested in, the next step is to determine the exact address of the organization. If it is not already included in the position description you can find it via the directory search (located in the orange bar at the top of the page) or by contacting the organization directly.

If you choose a position that involves travel, we encourage you to ask if the organization reimburses TTC fare for volunteers.

Volunteer Toronto is a charitable organization committed to supporting, creating and celebrating volunteerism in Toronto . Through our innovative approaches to volunteering and services that empower organizations to develop engaging volunteer programs, we are supporting our mission to  create the best possible volunteer experience.
