 New Look. New Features.

New Opportunities.

By now, you may have noticed that we have a brand new website which allows you the option to create a profile, submit your resume and subscribe to updates on the volunteer categories of your interest. We have also adopted fresh new colours and design elements in our branding.
We’re changing our weekly "Opportunities of the Week" newsletter and replacing it with a bi-weekly newsletter that will still give you access to some of latest volunteer opportunities, handy tips on how to volunteer, featured non-profits and also other volunteers’ stories.
We hope these changes help you to better connect with great volunteer opportunities and inspire you to get out and give back to your communities.

Featured Volunteer

Are you a volunteer with a great story to tell? Have advice for others looking to start volunteering? We want to hear from you!

We are starting a new monthly series where we will feature a volunteer in our bi-weekly newsletter. If you are interested in being featured then fill out this survey and we will contact you if you have been chosen.

In the meantime, check out George Kopulous' story about his next steps after retirement and how a conversation with Jacob, a client from the Aphasia Institute reminds him that we don't have to be defined by what might seem like limitations.

Create A Personal Profile On Our Website

Our website offers a new and exciting feature for you to connect with us and non-profit organizations in Toronto. You now have the option of creating and managing your own personal profile!

In this space, you can highlight your skills and interests by uploading your resume to your profile and applying directly to volunteer opportunities. In addition, you can subscribe to receive email alerts of new openings from categories of interest to you, e.g. Office Positions. You will also be able to communicate with us directly with any questions you may have about finding volunteer opportunities.

To access this feature you need to Register then go to the "Home" Page. Click on "Manage Profile" found in the blue box on the right side of the site. From there you can view and manage all of your profile preferences.

Volunteer Toronto is a charitable organization committed to supporting, creating and celebrating volunteerism in Toronto . Through our innovative approaches to volunteering and services that empower organizations to develop engaging volunteer programs, we are supporting our mission to  create the best possible volunteer experience.
