Looking to partake in some exciting new volunteer opportunities?
Well, Volunteer Toronto’s Youth Expo is an excellent opportunity for youth to learn all about the many different volunteer positions available in Toronto!

What is the Youth Expo?
The Youth Expo is a one day event for high school students to meet over 80 non-profits recruiting youth volunteers. You'll get to find out what roles they have, ask questions about what they do, and sign up for different volunteer roles that interest you.

If you've been wondering where to do your 40 hours, then the Youth Expo is the perfect opportunity to explore endless volunteering possibilities!

When does it take place?
On Saturday October 24th 2015 from 12noon to 3pm.

Where will it take place?
At the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street, Toronto, M4W 2G8
The room the Youth Expo will be in is called the Bram and Bluma Appel Salon which is on the second floor of the library. Look out for the Volunteer Toronto team who will be able to direct you there from the library's entrance!

How do I get there by TTC?
Yonge and Bloor is the closest intersection, so you'll need to get the Yonge-University line or Bloor-Danforth line to Bloor-Yonge station, and then walk two minutes north.

Put your address into this Google Map to find out how to get there from your home.

Who can attend the Youth Expo?
Any high school students or those interested in volunteer opportunities for youth.
As Volunteer Toronto covers the city of Toronto, the majority of the volunteer opportunities available will be based in Toronto, anywhere from Etobicoke to Scarborough, and as far north as North York. If you live outside of Toronto, you can still attend, but will probably not find roles in your local area.

Can parents or guardians come?
Yes! Parents and Guardians are welcome to come with their children. If you're a parent or guardian, you can come without your child, but we strongly recommend bringing your son or daughter with you, to ensure they are able to meet the non-profits directly and find volunteer opportunities that they will personally find enjoyable.

How much does it cost to attend?
The Youth Expo is free!

Do I need to register in advance?
No! Just turn up on Saturday, October 24th.

Which organizations will be there?
See below for the 80+ non-profits that will attend!
