Creating Engaging Orientation & Training for your Volunteers - Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 9:30am-12:30pm

$70 - Regular Rate / $40 - Full Subscriber Rate

How do you know if your volunteers are benefiting from orientation, and, more importantly, enjoying it? What will your volunteers learn next after they’re oriented? What can you do to provide training that is meaningful, engaging and impactful? This workshop will give you the tools you need to plan informative and enjoyable orientation sessions, appropriate and engaging training opportunities and ongoing training to continuously improve your volunteer program.

You'll leave this workshop with:

  • An understanding of the three main types of volunteer orientation
  • Tools & techniques for planning engaging orientation sessions
  • An assessment of necessary training for your volunteers
  • Ideas and templates for planning initial, ongoing and additional training

Coffee,tea and light refreshments will be provided.

Registration & Cancellation Policy

Registrations are accepted at the discretion of Volunteer Toronto.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 48 hours of an event.
Registration can be transferred to another member of your organization. 

Written notice must be received more than 48 hours prior to the event date in order to receive a refund. Please send your written cancellation to Sammy Feilchenfeld at Registered participants who fail to attend an event will be invoiced for the full fee, due 30 days from the date of the invoice.
