What are you doing to retain volunteers? What are you reporting when it comes to volunteer retention and attrition? How can you plan for succession and maintain long-term relationships? This workshop explores new avenues to retain volunteers – and new ways to think about retention, attrition and volunteer impact. Through an exploration of traditional and new methods of volunteer retention, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the value of volunteer work and the tools and techniques to ensure the success of you volunteer program.

You'll leave this workshop with:

  • A distinction between traditional and new alternative methods of retention
  • Tools to identify volunteer value & impact over traditional retention measurements
  • An array of retention alternatives and associated skills, including succession planning and short-term, high-impact roles
