Updated for 2019

Policies and procedures are essential to support your work and your volunteer program, but which policies are a must and how do you write this? In this full-day interactive workshop, we'll explore how to create the right policies and draft procedures that reflect your needs. You'll work together to build six policies and accompanying procedures that every volunteer program has to have. You'll leave the session with a brand new screening policy, role creation procedures, feedback policy and much more.

By the end of this full-day workshop, participants will have developed:

  • Six policies & accompanying procedures, including screening, feedback & dismissal
  • An understanding of the legal connections of some policies & procedures
  • Skills to write and develop future policies & procedures
