(Self)Love in the Time of COVID-19

During a crisis it is normal to feel stressed, confused, scared, sad or angry. Connecting with people you trust helps you stay focused on what matters. Self-compassion combined with nourishing routines and rituals are the foundation of self-care and self-mastery, especially during times of great upheaval.

In this interactive online session, participants will:

  • Explore opportunities to identify and practice gratitude
  • Access tips and strategies to create structure and calm in a home office
  • Begin to unlock new dreams, goals and talents
  • Engage with like-minded people facing - and solving - similar challenges

Registered attendees will receive self-care worksheets, assignments and resources prior to and/or after the webinar. During this hour participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share commitments and new self-care goals, and celebrate wins against fear, apathy and overwhelm.

“The highlight of my professional development in 2019 was Shannon’s self-care session at TAVA in November. As an artist, for me self-care is all about creativity. Shannon’s enthusiasm and approach provided me with a much needed re-direction, and several small shifts over the past few months have made me happier, more authentic, and more effective at work. This is a gift! I can't thank Shannon enough.” - Holly Procktor, Coordinator, Volunteers Art Gallery of Ontario
