About This Session:

In these unprecedented, uncertain times we continue to serve our community and support each other. How then, do we support ourselves? Volunteer Toronto’s VM Connector Series continues with more opportunities to help you stay grounded and navigate the many stages of our ‘new reality’. We invite and encourage you to set some time aside to practice self-care by joining our Check-In Support Groups for volunteer management professionals.

Guest facilitator Katie Mead will focus on harnessing the strength of our community, listen and lead discussions of shared experience, and create space for us to slow down and breathe.

About Katie:

Katie is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Toronto. Prior to her role in the mental health sector, Katie worked as volunteer coordinator and fund developer for arts organizations, and was a professional opera singer.
