Get The Guidance You Need At The Click Of A Button

Coordinating volunteers is hard work and you shouldn't have to do it alone. This is why we are continuously developing training and resources to help you improve and grow in your role as a leader of volunteers.

Volunteer Toronto provides hundreds of hours of training every year on a wide variety of issues and topics affecting the not-for-profit and voluntary sector. All of our information has been gathered from experts in the field and our research is focussed on building a better and stronger voluntary sector.

Throughout the years our training has changed and adapted to the needs of our members, we have heard from all levels of management and we want you to know that we listened and are developing the resources you need.

Everyone's time is limited and we understand the desire to access information when you need it, whenever you need it. Which is why we are proud to release the first of many online courses to help you build amazing volunteer programs.

Learn At Home

In our Introduction To Volunteer Management Basics series, you’ll learn the fundamental skills necessary for managing productive and rewarding volunteer involvement. With your subscription, you will get unlimited access to this course so you can revisit whenever you need some guidance.

Soon we will also be releasing online versions of our two most popular in-house courses on the Ontario Human Rights Code and Legislation in relation to volunteers.

Learn With Us

Over the years, our training department has worked hard to adapt to the needs of the sector whilst providing top-notch information from experts in the field. We are continuing with this tradition of providing quality in-house training sessions to those who prefer the personal touch.

Join your colleagues in learning together on topics of importance, share you knowledge and learn something new. Our small group sizes provide intimate access to our experts to get the answers you need to your most pressing questions.

Check out our upcoming sessions and sign up today!

Find Resources

From the Canadian Code of Volunteer Involvement to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), we've got the resources and templates you need to manage great volunteer programs. Check back as we will be updating this section with new information regularly.
