Grassroots Groups Need Your Help!

Over half of the non-profit organizations in Ontario have no paid staff, and are run entirely by the efforts of volunteers. We want to aid those groups by providing them with tailored workshops, resources and mentoring, but first, we need your help!

We're looking for grassroots, volunteer-run groups to fill out this survey or attend a focus group to let us know what sort of challenges they face. We know volunteer managers in Toronto are part of amazing networks in the non-profit sector; please use your connections to help us reach out by sharing this information with any grassroots groups you know!

Meet Our New Community Engagement Coordinator!

Kelly DeVries has joined the team to help us expand our reach and engage more communities in volunteering. In her new role as Community Engagement Coordinator, Kelly will be coordinating all our outreach activities, working with Youth Volunteerism Ambassadors in Toronto schools, and coordinating Volunteer Toronto’s Change the World initiatives.

If you are interested in having Kelly's outreach team speak to your group about volunteering
please fill out this form

Volunteers of Toronto

Do you know a volunteer with a great story to tell?

Honour them and the work they do for your organization by having them featured on our brand new storytelling site - Volunteers of Toronto

Our aim is to collect stories of volunteers from all corners of the city in order to create a living history of the incredible work people are doing to build a better Toronto.

Have your volunteer fill out this questionnaire and we will be in touch to arrange for their professional photoshoot.
