How to Apply / Contact

TreeMobile is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run project organized by Transition Toronto and Transition Guelph, two local groups of volunteers dedicated to supporting and nurturing the growth of a more resilient city.

To sign up to volunteer with TreeMobile, please complete the volunteer information form at the TreeMobile site here:  https://www.transitiontreemobile.org/volunteer/

For the Driver position, please be sure to check the "I can supply a vehicle" box and answer the questions that follow.

Join us this April and May to help bring climate-appropriate fruit trees and plants to the people of Toronto and Guelph.  Here’s how it works:  local residents purchase affordable fruit trees and plants from us and our volunteer team helps deliver and plant the trees/plants in April and May.  Help us empower people to achieve food security by growing their own food and make seasonal organics locally accessible!

Volunteers are needed to help us with this fun project!

We have 1 position available:

Drivers with their own vehicle capable of transporting some trees and plants and hopefully some volunteers.

The dates for the planting are Sunday April 28th and Sunday May 5th in Toronto and Sunday May 12 in Guelph.  We could use your help on both, or either.

Benefits to volunteering with TreeMobile include:

Meeting new friends who share an interest in the environment, gardening, food security and community building

Spending a wonderful spring weekend outdoors

Making a difference - knowing that with proper care, the trees will grow into carbon-storing, food-providing, beautiful beings

Enjoying a TreeMobile-supplied lunch after the planting is done

Please note, volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle
