Join us for Grassroots Week in celebration of leadership in Toronto

100 grassroots groups share how they’ve made an impact, and how you can too

WHAT:  Grassroots Week is a action-packed series of events coming to a Toronto Library near you! Join Volunteer Toronto, 100 grassroots groups—their stellar leaders—and non-profit experts, to learn about how you can make a real impact in Toronto. Whether you’re looking to start or grow your own grassroots organization or even if you’re just curious about the movement and how you can volunteer, join us for Grassroots Week! Register individually for the interactive panels, expert training sessions, a celebration brunch, and one massive volunteer fair by clicking here.

Grassroots groups from across the city - about 100 of them - will be at the Toronto Reference Library on Sunday, March 26th, 2017, for the Grassroots Week volunteer fair. You can also catch some of the groups featured throughout the week leading up to the fair, participating as experts on panel presentations or providing training sessions.

Here’s the highlights:

Jonathan Goldsbie, News Editor at Canadaland
He’s covered urban issues for NOW, Torontoist, Eye Weekly, Spacing, OpenFile, The Grid, and as a columnist for the National Post.

Deanna Lentini, Founder of Fix the 6ix
