Role Description

As Youth Engagement Coordinator (Youth Coordinator), you will facilitate Volunteer Toronto’s youth engagement initiatives as part of our 2026-2027 research project investigating the impact of the 40-hour community service mandate for high school students in Toronto. This will include supervising a team of high school-aged Youth Researcher volunteers, outreach to Toronto high schools to attend fairs and assemblies to speak about volunteer engagement, and hosting information sessions on high school volunteering at community partner locations, including Toronto Public Libraries.

• Reports to: Manager, Programs & Community Engagement
• Job type: Mixed Contract
  • July 27, 2026 – August 30, 2026: 35 hours per week (Full Time)
  • August 31 – January 29, 2027: 20 hours per week (Part-Time)
• Location: Hybrid
• Salary: $25-$30/hour + 4% vacation pay
